How do I know if natural gas service is available for my home or business?

If your home or business is currently equipped with natural gas and you’re interested in finding a natural gas provider near you, first check to see if you’re in our service area by entering your ZIP code into SCANA Energy’s service map. Then simply sign up online or contact SCANA Energy at 1-877-467-2262 to get started. 


How do I choose a natural gas provider?

We get it: natural gas can be confusing. Between therms, rate plans and contract lengths, it’s enough to leave your head spinning. But one aspect that should be easy? Choosing a provider.

We may be biased, but we think you should choose a company that’s friendlycompetitively priced, reliable and invested in your community. In addition, look for a partner that is upfront about their billing and payment options (and it never hurts to choose a company that rewards its customers!).

How do I sign up for natural gas?

At SCANA Energy, it’s easy to sign up for service by:

  1. Enrolling online via the SCANA Energy website
  2. Calling our customer service team at 1-877-467-2262 (available Monday through Friday from 7am to 8pm and Saturday from 8am to 5pm)

How can I switch natural gas providers?

Breaking up is hard to do – unless you’re switching natural gas marketers to SCANA Energy. With our great rates, friendly customer service and commitment to the community, you can’t go wrong.

Switching to SCANA Energy is easy; simply select your rate, click “Sign Up” and then select “Switch to SCANA Energy.” We’ll handle the rest! Once you’re a customer, we have endless perks, like exclusive ways to save and a rewarding referral program.


I’m moving. How can I take SCANA Energy with me?

SCANA Energy makes it easy for you to take your natural gas service to your new home. Simply visit the moving section of our website, log in to your SCANA Energy account and indicate that you are transferring service.

A few simple tips to help you navigate your natural gas move:

  • Have your start and stop dates ready. Know that you can keep service on at both addresses while you’re moving, provided your new address is in our service territory.
  • Plan ahead! You can transfer or start your natural gas service with SCANA Energy up to 90 days before your move date.
