What does SCANA Energy do?
SCANA Energy is proud to be one of the first certified natural gas marketers in Georgia, serving residential, commercial and industrial customers since the start of deregulation in 1998. As a leading natural gas provider, we serve homes and businesses connected to the natural gas pipelines owned and controlled by Atlanta Gas Light (AGL). We purchase natural gas for distribution, offer competitive rate plans, facilitate the billing process, provide answers to questions with friendly and knowledgeable customer service, and give back to our local communities. We also have a regulated unit, SCANA Energy Regulated Division, that has been approved by the Georgia Public Service Commission as the state’s only regulated natural gas provider to offer natural gas to low-income consumers as well as customers who are unable to get natural gas service from other marketers.
