Sign Up for Natural Gas in 5 Easy Steps

Whether you’re new to Georgia, moving within the state or just switching providers, we’ve got great news: SCANA Energy has made it easy to sign up for natural gas through our quick, five-step process.

Before you get started, be sure to have the following information on hand:

Name
Phone number
Email address
Address where you’d like natural gas service
Your current gas company (if switching Georgia natural gas providers)
Social security number

That’s it! Now, you’re ready to get started. Here’s what you can expect:

Start the sign-up process by indicating whether you’re switching to SCANA Energy from another provider or whether you’re signing up for new service.
Provide your service address, or the address where you’d like natural gas service. Indicate whether this address also serves as your mailing address.
Next, you’ll be able to choose your natural gas rate. There are several options, so think through which plan best aligns with your needs. Do you prefer a short-term (6 month) contract, or are you ready to lock in long-term rates?
- Bonus Tip: At this stage, you’ll also have the option to enroll in an Automatic Renewal Program when your SCANA Energy contract ends.
After that, we’ll just need a few personal details: your name, phone number, email address, and social security number.
Once you’re approved, you’ll be able to select your start date. We’ll email you to confirm the date and provide instructions for setting up your online account, bill payments, etc. It couldn’t be easier!
