On Saturday, December 2, SCANA Energy employees joined employees from the Atlanta Dream team in Atlanta for Dreamsgiving. Everyone came together for the Restoring One’s Hope community fair, an event that helps the unhoused in Atlanta.

Volunteers worked to put together snack packs, hygiene bags, and sort clothing donations before the event opened up. There were other organizations there offering health screenings, laundry and bathing facilities, haircuts, food, and more for the unhoused. The Dream team sent people out to go around the area and let folks know the community fair was happening so no one would miss out. From 10am–2pm, members of the community came to Restoring One’s Hope and enjoyed collecting what they wanted and getting together with others.

It was a great day of community involvement with other philanthropic companies.
