Each month, SCANA Energy makes a $5,000 donation to a local organization. This month, we’re supporting the Live Healthy and Thrive Youth Foundation.

Live Healthy and Thrive strives to teach children how to live healthy, balanced lifestyles to avoid future health risks. Their main goals are to grow the number of children enrolled in their educational programs each year and to build their Pinnacle Youth Foundation, which provides college scholarships for high school students.

To achieve their goal, Live Healthy and Thrive runs the Healthy Kids Summer Camp, produces free “Healthy Kids” workshops, and has a gardening program called “Gardens are for Kids.” SCANA Energy is proud to support an organization that does so much to help the children of Georgia live their healthiest lives.
