As part of our commitment to our community, every month SCANA Energy chooses a local organization to receive a $5,000 donation. In honor of Pride, the recipient for June is Lost-n-Found Youth.

Lost-n-Found Youth is a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to ending homelessness for LGBTQ+ youth. The organization was started when a need was identified for queer youth because they were being turned away from traditional shelters and youth aid programs. Today, 40% of homeless youth identify as LGBTQ+ and Lost-n-Found Youth is working to provide them the skills and support they need to live on their own.

Lost-n-Found runs a youth center that offers meals, enrichment opportunities, and more. There is also a transitional house for youth in need.
