SCANA Energy is committed to making a difference in the lives of those in our community. With gas prices on the rise, it’s more important than ever to ensure everyone has a safe and warm home. That’s why we have continued to support HEAT, a nonprofit that provides energy assistance to low-income families and individuals in Georgia.

HEAT believes that a person shouldn’t have to choose between a warm home and other essentials like food and medication. They identify families in need of assistance and work with the Georgia Division of Family and Children Services to distribute funds through community action agencies. HEAT gives these families a warm home so they have one less thing to worry about in winter. SCANA Energy is proud to be one of the many sponsors and donors who help HEAT offer aid to those in need.

This year, SCANA Energy donated $100,000 to HEAT to ensure members of our community stay warm without having to give up other necessities.
