Helping Georgia's Children with United Way of Greater Atlanta

Apr 19, 2021, 13:30 by Caralin Stepp

SCANA Energy is committed to improving the education of Georgia’s children. In addition to 20 years of funding after-school homework centers for elementary students across Georgia, we support other organizations that share the same beliefs.

SCANA Energy is proud to have donated $25,000 to the United Way of Greater Atlanta’s Child Well-Being Impact Fund. This fund focuses on vulnerable children, providing economic stability, assisting with educational needs, and preparing kids for life beyond high school.

“We are excited to partner with an organization that aligns so closely with SCANA Energy’s commitment to the education and well-being of Georgia’s children. We strive to make a difference in these kids’ lives and this partnership is another great step toward that goal,” says Kimberly Penz, Director of Marketing at SCANA Energy.
