As part of our commitment to give back to our local community, SCANA Energy proudly sponsors Homework Centers throughout metro Atlanta. These centers help second through fifth grade students at nine different schools with homework assignments and study skills.

The pandemic has caused more challenges than usual this year. SCANA Energy worked to raise additional funds for the Homework Centers by asking our customers and partners to donate to a general fund for food, internet services, and other school supplies for these students.

We were thrilled to see our employees, customers, and partners come together to raise $8,200 for the Homework Centers. SCANA Energy was proud to match those donations for a total of $16,400 for students in need. As a company, we believe in supporting education and the strength of a community working together.
