Senior Plan  

  • 3¢-per-therm discount on any Traditional or Carbon-Neutral plans
  • $0.20 discount on your monthly customer service charge
May be a good choice if you: 
Have average annual gas usage of 720 therms or more.

Senior Advantage Plan

  • $2 off your monthly customer service charge, giving you $24 back in your pocket each year
May be a good choice if you: 
Use less than 720 therms of gas annually. It guarantees savings no matter how much gas you use. Call the number below to enroll with this discount.

Atlanta Gas Light Senior Discount

After your SCANA Energy plan has been activated, income-eligible customers may qualify for up to $14 off your monthly Atlanta Gas Light (AGL) Pass-Through Charge.

Please note: This discount is managed by AGL and approved by the Georgia Public Service Commission — not SCANA Energy.

Do you qualify?

AGL’s Senior Discount is available to Georgians who meet the following criteria: 

 

Are aged 65 or older
Have household income of up to $31,300 USD
Have a SCANA Energy gas plan in your name

 

What happens next?

Good news — you don’t have to lift a finger. Once you’ve enrolled in a plan with us, submitted your AGL application, and met eligibility requirements, your SCANA Energy and AGL senior discounts all activate automatically. 

Reminder: For fixed rate or variable rate plans, the AGL senior discount will apply to the AGL Base Charge line item on your bill.
