Clark’s Christmas Kids is celebrating their 30^th year of helping Georgia’s foster children. SCANA Energy is proud to continue to support the program, though the support looked different this year. Most years, SCANA employees gather at a local Walmart and shop for gifts. This year, to keep everyone healthy and safe, Clark’s Christmas Kids went virtual. SCANA Energy donated to the program to ensure each child received a gift to remember.

Each year, Clark’s Christmas Kids provides gifts for children in foster care who may not otherwise receive them. The program website has a page with the name, age, gender, and county of each child along with a list of gift ideas for them. If you don’t have time to shop yourself, a donation can be made so the program can purchase any gifts left in time for the holidays.

Here at SCANA, we did our best to make the holidays special for these children. We made a donation of $10,000 and encouraged employees to shop for the kids and/or make their own donation. Our goal is to make sure children in need across Georgia have a Christmas morning to remember.
