While our customer service representatives answer a variety of questions each day, there are five that come up more regularly than others. Read on to find out our customers’ most frequently asked “burning” questions:
1. “What does it take to get new service turned on?”
Are you moving or looking to switch natural gas providers? Finding a natural gas provider (or choosing the right one) near your home has never been easier.

There are two types of natural gas rate plans – “fixed” and “variable.”
If you like to rest easy knowing your bill will won’t vary from month to month, our fixed rate plan is for you. This plan locks in the price per therm for the length of your contract.
Prefer more flexibility? Check out our variable rate plan, which allows customers to receive natural gas service without the commitment of a contract. With this type of plan, the price per therm can vary month to month as the natural gas market shifts.

4. “What charges will I have on my bill?”
Your natural gas bill is calculated by adding the monthly natural gas consumption charge, customer service charge, Atlanta Gas Light pass-through charge, and taxes together.
