4 Easy Grill Marinades for Your Next BBQ

From Labor Day cookouts to outdoor family dinners, summertime is the perfect season to hone your grilling recipes. So when we wanted easy marinade recipes for our customers that were sure to make a sizzle, we went straight to the experts.

Classic Steak Marinade

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1½ tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. onion powder
  • 1-2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions:

  1. Whisk all liquid ingredients together.
  2. Add dry ingredients and whisk together.
  3. Marinate protein of your choice for two hours before grilling.


Honey Lime Cilantro Marinade

Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1½ tbsp. cilantro, chopped
  • Juice from 2 limes
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Whisk all ingredients together.
  2. Marinate protein of your choice for several hours before grilling.


Smoky Marinade

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup liquid smoke
  • 3 tbsp. seasoned salt
  • 2 tbsp. garlic powder
  • 2½ tbsp. onion powder
  • 3 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 4 tbsp. water

Instructions:

  1. Whisk all ingredients together.
  2. Marinate protein of your choice for two hours before grilling.


Asian Ginger Marinade

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp. honey
  • 2 tbsp. sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp. garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp. fresh ginger root, diced
  • 1/2 tsp. ground pepper
  • 1 tbsp. raw sesame seeds

Instructions:

  1. Whisk all ingredients together until the honey has dissolved.
  2. Marinate protein of your choice for two hours before grilling.
