SCANA Energy - Terms and Conditions
SkyMiles Program Terms & Conditions
  1. SCANA Energy’s Rewards Program (the “Rewards Program”) commenced on October 1, 1999 and amended July 1, 2002. Each eligible SCANA Energy residential natural gas customer in Georgia who is a participant in the Delta Air Lines SkyMiles® program and who has timely furnished his or her SkyMiles® account number to SCANA Energy will be awarded one mile for each dollar paid to and collected by SCANA Energy for the natural gas consumption charge beginning with your August, 2002 bill for the duration of the Rewards Program. (Miles will not be rewarded retroactively.)
  2. SCANA Energy customers will be awarded miles based on the total amount they pay each month to SCANA Energy for the natural gas consumption charge, not including passthrough charges from Atlanta Gas Light Company, late fees, customer service fees, reconnection fees, state and local sales taxes, etc.
  3. Miles will be earned when bills are paid by customers and funds received by SCANA Energy, not as the statements are generated by SCANA Energy’s billing system. If a payment is past due for 60 days, the customer may be suspended from earning SkyMiles® from SCANA Energy for up to one year.
  4. SCANA Energy will credit earned miles to customers’ Delta accounts monthly. The postings will reflect miles earned through the last day of the month preceding the mileage credit month. The earned mileage will appear on customers’ SkyMiles® statements within six to eight weeks of crediting.
  5. All standard Delta SkyMiles® program rules and conditions apply. See delta.com for more information.
  6. The Rewards Program is applicable only to payments made to SCANA Energy for natural gas consumption charges. Payments made to SCANA Energy that are related to HVAC financing, Service Care or other programs are not subject to the Rewards Program.
  7. The Rewards Program is subject to termination at any time without notice; provided, however, that all miles earned by customers prior to the effective date of termination will be posted to those customers’ respective Delta SkyMiles® accounts at the next regular monthly posting date.
  8. Any state or federal income taxes which may result, as well as any additional fees or charges imposed by Delta Air Lines, are the responsibility of the individual.
