Senior rate plans are available to customers 65 years of age and older. These special discounted fixed and variable rate plans are available through the call center only. Listed below are the current residential rates, effective March 5, 2010.

*New variable rate customers will receive the rate in effect on the first day of their billing cycle. Prices are subject to change on the 5th of every month. The charges for natural gas consumption are calculated using the rate in effect on the first day of the billing cycle multiplied by the therm usage for that period. A billing cycle is approximately one month, but the actual number of days may vary with each billing cycle. Customers who establish service may receive an initial bill for less than a complete billing cycle or month. Service is subject to credit approval.
** By signing up for a fixed rate plan, you are guaranteed a fixed therm rate for 6, 12, or 18 months. SCANA Energy uses billing cycles to determine the length of a fixed rate plan. A billing cycle is approximately one month, but the actual number of days may vary with each billing cycle. Customers who establish service may receive an initial bill for less than a complete billing cycle or month. In order to receive that rate, you must commit to the rate plan for a specified period of time. If you choose to cancel before the specified period of time is complete, there is a $100 exit fee that may have to be paid in addition to your current balance. Service is subject to credit approval.
