At SCANA Energy, we’re working hard to keep Georgia residents cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Here are just few of the ways.
SCANA Energy Regulated Division In 2002, the Georgia Public Service Commission (GPSC) selected SCANA Energy to be Georgia’s only regulated provider of natural gas. Since then, SCANA Energy Regulated Division has been providing natural gas service to low-income and elderly consumers, as well as individuals whose credit histories prevent them from obtaining natural gas service from another marketer. Through SCANA Energy Regulated Division, low-income consumers can purchase natural gas at special rates regulated by the GPSC.
Visit the SCANA Energy Regulated Division website to learn more about who qualifies and how to sign up.
H.E.A.T. SCANA Energy partners with "H.E.A.T.", Heating Energy Assistance Team, an Atlanta-based nonprofit organization which provides funding to help with the cost of energy at a time when many people are struggling to pay their heating bills. (Georgia residents who need assistance may apply through their local Community Action Agency.)
SCANA Energy makes it easy for you to help share the warmth by contributing to H.E.A.T.
To make a donation, either a one-time contribution or monthly through your SCANA Energy bill, simply make a contribution online or print and mail a H.E.A.T. contribution form.
For ongoing contributions, the amount you contribute will be added to your SCANA Energy bill each month. SCANA Energy is the only natural gas provider that provides you the opportunity to donate to H.E.A.T. through your monthly bill.
To make a one-time donation directly through H.E.A.T., visit www.heatga.org or mail a donation of any amount to:
H.E.A.T. c/o Wachovia Bank, N.A P.O. Box 930112 Atlanta, GA 31193
All donations are tax deductible.
For more than 26 years, H.E.A.T. has helped low-income Georgians pay their energy bills. The funds are distributed by the Georgia Department of Human Resources through local community action agencies.
