SCANA Energy is honored to support many charitable organizations and causes throughout Georgia. We’re involved with groups that are working to improve the lives of every resident of the state, from the very young to senior citizens.
SCANA Energy is proud to partner with organizations such as:
- ALS Association, working to cure Lou Gehrig’s disease.
- American Diabetes Association, leading the fight against the deadly consequences of diabetes.
- American Heart Association, raising awareness of heart disease and stroke.
- Council on Aging, Inc., helping to maintain programs of advocacy, education, outreach and training to Georgia’s senior citizens.
- Susan G. Komen for the Cure, supporting the organization’s mission to cure breast cancer at every stage.
- United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta, including its 2-1-1 program, which provides energy assistance to hundreds of thousands of individuals.
For many years, SCANA Energy, in partnership with the Atlanta Mayor’s Office of Constituent Service and the Atlanta Fire Department, has donated and distributed thousands of box fans to help bring relief to Georgia’s elderly residents during the summer months.
